@whitsundayrc’s $16.6 million water pipeline between Proserpine and Airlie Beach was completed in July 2021. One of our expert boilermakers in his element, fabricating the high tolerance critical components in the Composite Fibre Technology (CFT) structure for @wagnersholdingco. ⠀ Wagners manufacture CFT in Australia using a unique pull-winding process. It was an honour to partner with @newlands_group & @toowoombaregion to bring an engineered to order solution for the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing. ⠀ Mt Kynoch potable water required a reliable transport vessel that enabled increased volume to support the ongoing water supply to Toowoomba City. A redundancy pipe also needed to be installed as a backup. Here’s a breakdown of what we delivered: • 1283 & 559 OD steel water main welded inside and out. • 100% Visual examination IAW AS/NZS 1554.1 • Over 100 welds across 800m of pipeline in various landscapes including bridge crossover. • Completed within a 24 hour critical cut over time. #JRSManufacturingGroup
